Pokémon Sword & Shield Needs Over 10GB Install Size on Switch

As the release date coming, retail stores in Japan start bringing the game download card to the shelf.

It was then discovered by one Twitter user that the downloadable version of Pokémon Sword & Shield needs 10.3GB install size.

This means that the latest main installment of Pokémon is the biggest one to date, whereas Pokémon Let’s GO Pikachu & Eevee took about 4.2GB.

Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield will take players to the new region called Galar which based on England. The game introduces new mechanic, Gigantimax, and Max Raid battle where up to 4 players can fight against the giant-sized wild Pokémon cooperatively.

Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield will be released for Nintendo Switch on November 15th globally. This game also marks the first time that the mainstream Pokémon will be released on the console, too.
