Bookbound Brigade Release Date Announced

Intragames (Bae Sang Chan, CEO) have co-operated with Digital Tales (Giovanni Bazzoni, President) to announce the official release of Bookbound Brigade, an action-platform game on PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ and PC, localized in Asian languages on January 30 2020.

Bookbound Brigade is a Metroidvania genre game where characters from literature and history join forces as a ‘dream’ team and start their journey to save the literary world, which is in danger. Its sophisticated pixel art and cute visuals will definitely impress the players. The brigade members consist of 8 familiar characters such as King Arthur from the knights of the Round Table, Dracula the Vampire, the righteous outlaw Robin Hood, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Sun Wukong from the Journey to the West.

The brigade members move and fight in formation and they can be arranged differently, each with their own set of skills and stats affecting the brigade’s behavior.

The heroes will explore 5 thematic worlds, acquiring new skills while fighting monsters and solving puzzles on their way. By acquiring new skills, players will be able to access new areas and more colorful and challenging experiences.

Along with the release date, new screenshots are revealed. Bookbound Brigade depicts the world of literary works, including a wide variety of themes and charming lovely characters.
